  • GOALS: in this workshop we will examine the key elements of a proactive national search process, including the evaluation of candidates’ measurable skills and behaviors, as well as the alignment of the joint stakeholders’ expectations. Through this work, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the effective search processes that will benefit their organization, including current and future employees.

  • GOALS: during this workshop we will work with the Search Committee on how to identify your organizational needs, addressing the potential challenges and opportunities for the development of the  entire  organization / department as a whole, as well as for the individual stakeholders. We will also discuss what’s needed to develop a robust slate of potential candidates, and also for the applicant evaluation process based on their measurable skills and behaviors that are critical for success in the job.

PREREQUISITES FOR A CONSEQUENTIAL GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE

  • GOALS: to clarify the board governance committee’s essential responsibilities and duties which stand to benefit and to improve the overall effectiveness of board governance. 

  • The purpose of this workshop is to introduce boards of trustees and governance committees to their consequential roles.
